Chris has been working with wood for over 20 years; sculptural furniture for architectural projects, wood sculpture using found materials, wooden display features for exhibitions. This work combines a love of wood with a high level of creative and technical skills. This involves concept development, problem solving, design, interpreting ideas, client liaison, construction and manufacturing skills, including woodcarving. Sometimes projects involve collaboration with other artists and craftspeople. Chris shares this knowledge and experience running various workshops and courses around Scotland.
